Discuss this!Most of Earth's space hardware was destroyed in the China war. The Omega space station was constructed from wreckage as a largely symbolic guesture that manned space exploration would continue. However most space exploration effort was put into rebuilding the space elevator, which discouraged the development of launch and re-entry vehicles.
This space station usually had a three man crew and was serviced by Storm Rider, Shizi-Zhanzheng and Cornicopia space craft (the above picture shows a docked Shizi-Zhanzheng). The permanent structure also incorporated two Shizi-Zhanzheng orbital moduals. It's scientific research was limited by lack of funds and political wrangling. It's main contribution was ironically to provide information about the space dragons shortly before its destruction in 2137.
